William J Steiner, Sr.

February 28, 1949 — June 17, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother and father William J. Steiner, Sr., who left us on June 17th, 2023. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. William Steiner served proudly in the Navy from 1969 to 1973 during the Vietnam War. He was stationed on the USS Coral Sea, and we honor him for his bravery and dedication to his country. His service to our nation will always be remembered. Aside from his military service, our father was a true character. He possessed a great sense of humor and loved bringing laughter to others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and would do anything for his family and friends. He was born into a large family of eight siblings - Joey, Jimmy, Billy, Bobby, Dennis, Tommy, Mary, and Michael. Billy was raised with an abundance of love and camaraderie. Together, they shared countless moments of joy and created lifelong memories that will be forever treasured. We still tell funny stories about the good old days back at Juniper Drive. One of Billy’s most well-known attributes was his impeccable dancing ability. He enjoyed nothing more than taking over the dance floor and impressing attendees with his moves. Women adored him and couldn't wait to dance with him because he made his partners shine. We will always remember him spinning around the room with a grin on his face. Our father is survived by his children Susan, William, Heather, Steven, and Matthew - all of whom he loved deeply - as well as grandchildren Armani, Nathan, Shaker, Isabel, Jack, and Iris. We will miss our dad dearly but will cherish the memories we have shared together forever. As we mourn the loss of our dear brother Billy, let us take comfort in the thought that he is now dancing in Heaven. We can only imagine the joy on his face as he moves freely to the rhythm of the divine music, surrounded by the love and warmth of our Heavenly Father. Although it hurts to say goodbye, we can find solace in knowing that he's in a better place, free from pain and sorrow. Let us cherish the beautiful memories of Billy and hold onto them Rest in peace, Dad - you will never be forgotten.
