Walter C. Carmasino, Jr

Walter C Carmasino Jr. (Junior), age 80, of South Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully Saturday March 11, 2023 at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

He was born and raised in Bristol, PA on August 9, 1942.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Carmasino (Pezzulla) and Walter Carmasino Sr., and Brothers Anthony (Norma) of Trenton, NJ and Edward (Theresa) of Philadelphia, PA.

He is survived by his two daughters, Holly Carmasino of Clearwater, FL, and Stephanie Carmasino Hudson (Michael) of Fredericksburg VA, and former spouse Joanne Carmasino. He has six grandchildren, Devon, Justin, Marisa, Kaitlyn, Meghan and Devin, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Previously owned and operated Village Cuts Beauty Salon in Langhorne, Pennsylvania for over 25 years.

He was an avid sports fan and invested his passion into coaching JV basketball at Pennsbury High School and Solebury School in New Hope, PA. He also coached JV softball at The George School in Newtown, PA. As the "Shot Doctor," he mentored numerous youth in basketball

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 10 - 11 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007.  Funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a youth charity.
