Vito J Bono

November 23, 1925 — January 17, 2018

Vito J. Bono of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully on January 17, 2018 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown with his loving daughter by his side.  He was 92.  Born and raised in Bristol Boro he has been a resident of Levittown since 1963.  He was a WWII Veteran, who served throughout Europe in the United States Army and was a member of the Military Police and Artillery Unit.  After the war he was an employee of Stokes Molded Product and after his retirement he was employed as a truck driver for Gibbles Snacks in Bensalem.  Vito will always be remembered as a loving and caring gentleman with the most wonderful, contagious smile and his love of ballroom dancing with his wife, they were liked and admired by many.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Bono of 53 years, his parents Peter and Mary Bono and all his brothers and sisters.  Vito will be greatly missed by his loving daughter Mary Pearce and her husband Donald and many nieces, nephews and close friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 10 am – 12:00 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral services will begin at 12 pm. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Chandler Hall, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940.
