Veronica Lea Straley

Veronica Lea Straley, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly November 9, 2024. Born on August 12, 1979, in Bristol, Pa Veronica was known for her kind heart, loyalty, gentle spirit, tenacity, silly ways, untamed spiritual personality, and devoted love for her family. 

Throughout her life, Veronica dedicated herself to being a loving homemaker and nurturing mother to her children, Dezmond, Frank, Skye, Michael, and Leeam. She treasured every moment spent with her family, bringing warmth and joy to their lives. 

Veronica was preceded in death by her mother Jeannie Straley and brother Raymond Barnett. Veronica will be deeply missed by her beloved sister Jeannie Olsen, brother Anthony Barnett, best friend Lisa Ritchie, and her devoted spouse Michael George sr. 

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Veronica’s life will take place at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057 on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM, followed by words of remembrance at 1:00 PM. We ask every one to wear the colors Burgundy, dark reds, and dark purples. 

We also want to remind everyone to come ready to celebrate her life and times you spent with her. She would want all of us to smile and have a good time in her memory not wallow in sadness. If you don’t smile she might just trip you. Though she may no longer be with us, Veronica’s memory and spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by everlasting love she shared with her family.
