Thomas W Roy

ROY, THOMAS W., 74, a resident of Upper Gwynedd, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away on February 12, 2018.   He was the beloved husband of Carole (nee Comido).  Son of the late Francis X.  and Alma L. (nee Lebherz) Roy.   Loving father of Frank J. (Elizabeth), Thomas C. and "Poppy" to his "baby girl" Paige Victoria.  Dear brother of Margaret Sgro (Joseph) and the late Mary Ann Roy. Proud uncle of 5 and great uncle of 6.  He was a devoted loving husband, who loved his sons unconditionally, a quiet gentle grandfather and a kind and honest friend to many. On the Varsity Swim Team for Cardinal Dougherty High School; He served as Sgt. in the U.S. Marines, then attended St. Joseph's University for Industrial Management. He held employment in Manufacturing and Operations Management for 35 years; He was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church for 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed photography, hunting, and was an ardent fly fisherman. He also liked watching and attending boxing and college football and any gathering of family, friends, good food and good times.  He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 48 years and sons. A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446.  In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions in his memory to Corpus Christi Church.
