Thomas E Nerwinski, Sr.

Thomas Edward Nerwinski, Sr. age 70 of Bristol, PA passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018.   He was born June 12, 1947 in Trenton, NJ.  Tom graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ. He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.  He was assigned to the USS Mataco where he proudly served from 1965 to 1969. Tom was a K-9 Police Officer for the Bristol Township Police Department for 25 years.  After he left the police force Tom was a Resource Officer at Truman High School, Bristol, PA for several years.  Tom was a Free Mason.  Tom was always helping others through his associations with the Police Department and Free Masons.  As an L-VAD patient Tom was a wonderful support and resource for patients considering L-VAD and the motivation for existing L-VAD patients to live the fullest life possible.  He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Nerwinski and stepfather Edward Andrzejewski as well as his son Thomas Edward Nerwinski, Jr.  He is survived by his mother Marion Andrzejewski; his devoted wife Barbara Ann Nerwinski (nee Davis), his loving children Wendy Lauver (Carl) and David Nerwinski (Jessica), sisters Christina Wilder (Patrick) and Paula Nerwinski, Sisters-in-law Judy Fagan (Michael), Beth Ann Davis and Dori Davis (Douglas White) and his much adored grandchildren Aloradannon, Savannah and Parker Lauver and Sarah, Grace and Jack Nerwinski (Heather). Tom also is survived by his many nieces and nephews who will miss him tremendously. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Thursday, June 7, 2018 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Morrisville. PA.
