Theresa L Sawkenas

Theresa “Terry” L. Sawkenas (Chase) of Levittown, PA, beloved wife of Edward J. Sawkenas II, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. She was 61. Born in Bristol, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard Chase and Nancy Shenberger (Rice). Terry was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1979.

Terry was kind and generous. She loved Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, animals, especially giraffes, reality TV shows, music, traveling to new and tropical locations, and participating in charity, but she especially loved being a mother and grandmother. Terry will be greatly missed by her daughter, Danielle Fox and her husband Dillon of Warrington, PA, her sons Dan Mosco of Bristol, PA and John Mosco of Levittown, PA; her stepson, Ed Sawkenas III of Levittown and her stepdaughters, Lindsey Bailey of Levittown, PA and Christy Sawkenas and her partner Jeremiah of Willingboro, NJ. She will also be missed dearly by her 11 loving grandchildren, Carter, Shane, Weston, Edward IV, Gabriel, Isaiah, Gianna, Trinity, Aniecya, Niya and Thomas.    

Terry is survived by her brothers, Ken Chase (Susan) of Levittown, PA and Mike Chase of Levittown, PA, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Terry’s name be made to the Bucks County SPCA, 1665 Street Road, New Hope, PA 18938.
