Sonia Rodriguez, born on September 30, 1944, in the picturesque village of El Juncal, Olanchito Yoro, graced this world as an only child. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love and devotion, first to her family and then to who had the fortune to know her. She shared a deep bond with Manuel Rivera, the beloved partner with whom she raised a vibrant family of eight children. Sonia’s nurturing spirit extended to her 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of compassion and wisdom.

Throughout her life, Sonia was not merely a mother; she was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love, embodying the roles of daughter, friend, and grandmother with unwavering grace. Her impact and teachings reverberate through the hearts of her family, who will cherish her memory eternally.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday evening, November 8, 2024, from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Church of God Shalom, located at 2026 Street Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. A continuation of the gathering will take place Saturday morning, November 9, 2024, at 9 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
