Shawn M Duffy

Shawn M. Duffy passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He died suddenly of complications due to an undiagnosed diabetic condition. He was 36. Born in Trenton, NJ, Shawn had been a long-time resident of Levittown before he moved to Philadelphia, and was a graduate of Neshaminy High School’s class of 2000. Shawn spent most of his career working with his hands painting houses, installing windows and floors. He was a huge Philadelphia sports fan rooting for the Eagles and Phillies.  Shawn was the son of Dennis and Candy Duffy. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters: Shannon Doughty and Erin Servin (Adam); brother Patrick (Tina); Uncle Kevin Duffy, aunts: Maureen Duffy, Deborah Spigner (Martin), Aunt and Godmother Dorothy Duffy; cousins: John Duffy (Gina), Gregory Duffy (Dec.), Shane Spigner, and Rebecca Haberman (Jake); seven nieces and nephews, and his girlfriend Penny Cromwell, "the love of his life". We will all miss his loving, laughing contribution to our lives as well as his quick use of movie line quotes. At Shawn's request, there will be no viewing or service.
