Ruth M Maldonado

Millie grew up in Trenton, NJ. Born to Victor Alicea and Gertrudis Lopez Alicea she was know for always being loving and caring to all her family and friends. She resided in Pennsylvania for the past 26 years. She passed away on Monday, November 11th at the age of 65 years old.Millie proudly worked at Walmart for 26 years. She build lifetime friendships with coworkers throughout the years. Millie loved being with her family and enjoying “Sunday Funday. “Sunday Funday’s” were planned by her, her daughter Dina & granddaughter Gia. They enjoyed cooking together, listening to music and bonding over her great grandson John John. Millie loved spending every moment she could with her great grandson and all her grandchildren. Millie enjoyed cooking family diners, holidays diners and Birthdays diners. She loved Salsa dancing with her husband Eddie and seeing him perform in Salsa Music Events. Millie loved visiting the Fountain of Life church when she had the opportunity. 

Millie is survived by her husband Edwin (Eddie) Maldonado, her 2 children and son in law, Edwin (Nepi) Maldonado, Edwina (Dina) Maldonado and Dwayne Jones. Her 5 grandchildren Gia Papaleo and husband John Papaleo, Elijah Maldonado, Anayah Maldonado, Dinalis Jones, Dwayne (Pop) Jones Jr and great grandson John Papaleo III. Predeceased by her parents Victor Alicea and Gertrudis Lopez Alicea. Predeceased by her siblings Moses Alicea, Jimmy Alicea and Mary Alicea. She is survived by her beloved sisters Nancy Alicea, Hilda Martinez and Wanda Alicea. Along with many brother in laws, sister in laws, nephews, nieces and many more extended family. 

In Remembrance of Millie’s life, a service will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Fountain of Life, 2035 Columbus Rd, Burlington NJ 08016. Friends and family are welcome to arrive by 9:00 AM, the service will be begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will be immediately after Service at St Mary’s Cemetery on Cedar Lane in Trenton, NJ 08610. As we gather to Celebrate her life, let us reflect on the impact Millie had on all those who knew her. Her faith in God, her love for husband of 49 years, her children, her grandchildren and great grandson. May her spirit live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have known her.
