Reverend Ronald Dean Murphy passed from this life to the next on January 1, 2019; he was 64. He was born October 7, 1954, in Springfield Illinois, he grew up in Harrison Arkansas, where he graduated Harrison HS and then served in the Army from 1974 until 1984. When his service was over, he settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University in 1996, was ordained and served as pastor at Haines Road Baptist Church and then at Newtown Community Church. He is survived by his mother Gerry M Murphy and his father Guy E Bouvet; his best friend of 42 years Maryann Murphy; his children: Darrell H (Kaitlyn) Murphy, Ronald D Murphy, David A Murphy, and Anna M (Josh) Murphy-Ottaway; his brothers and sisters: Caroline (Albert) Rainey, Donald Murphy, Pamela Peters, Alan Murphy, Sandy (Aletha) Murphy, Guy (Lisa) Bouvet, Jason Bouvet and many nieces and nephews.   On Friday, January 18th there will be a brief service with military honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940. Please arrive precisely at 1:15 pm. so that interment can take place at 1:30 pm, due to cemetery restrictions. There will be a traditional Memorial Service, that evening at 6 pm, at Crossing Community Church, 80 Silver Lake Rd, Newtown, PA. Everyone is welcome to attend either or both services.
