Ronald Ditzler

Ronald W. Ditzler , 81, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Born on October 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Harry and Mildred Ditzler. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia "Patsy" Ditzler (nee McNesby), his brother Bud (Arlene), and sister Arlene Pemper. He is survived by his brothers Jerry (Kathey) Jack (Judy) and Glenn (Sue) and his McNesby in-laws Jim (late Janet), late RoseMarie, Karen, Eileen, Nancy, Sue, Frank, and Michael.

Ronald aka "Beaver" grew up in the Kensington section of Philadelphia before moving to Levittown with Patsy, where they built a beautiful life together centered on love, family, and laughter.

He proudly worked at Service Pipe for 25 years until its closure. He became a fixture in the local community as a bartender at The Irishman's Pub and Bailey's Bar & Grill until he retired in 2006.

Above all, Ron was a devoted father to Ronald W. Ditzler Jr. (Krissie), Annie Schofield, MaryBeth Shortt (Chris), and Patrick Ditzler. Beloved Pop-Pop to his grandchildren: Ashley (Mike), Josh, Ryan, Dylan, Molly, Maggie, and Macie. He was also a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews who adored his playful spirit and contagious laugh.

Ronnie enjoyed bowling, playing pool, and shuffleboard and was always counted on for a great laugh. His biggest accomplishment, however, was his deep love for his children and family.

To honor Ronnie's memory, a viewing will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. A second viewing will take place on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at Queen of the Universe, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056, followed by an 11:00 AM Mass. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Ronnie's legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
