Roger L. Stambaugh, age 80, passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, October 21, 2024.

Born May 12, 1944, in Mechanicsburg, PA. Roger spent his childhood years in the Harrisburg area. He eventually relocated to Bensalem, PA where he started a new life meeting his wife, Lorraine, and wonderful friends.

Roger was employed as a truck driver before finally retiring. He enjoyed vacations, Trenton Thunder games and get togethers with his friends and family. He was a dedicated Dallas fan even among his Eagles family and friends. Rogers love for his family of cats and dogs was never ending.

His passion was cars – first detailing cars with his friend Bill Peasley, then collecting car models when he retired. His friend Dale Bernier encouraged him to draw cars again which opened a world of joy of drawing. Roger had his unique artistic style with all his art done with love.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents Revere Stambaugh and Florence Stambaugh (Jumper), his brother JR Stambaugh, and sister-in-law Patricia Springer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Stambaugh of 55 years. Roger was a devoted father figure to his sister-in-law Debbie Cooper (Springer) Scott and niece Celeste Young (Stambaugh) David. He will be sadly missed by his sister Wanda Johnson, his brother-in-law Warren Springer. In addition he was the proud uncle of his niece Larissa Rebensky (Eric), Kate Fanus, Cheyenne Fanus, Eric Fanus, and Andrew Fanus. He misses nieces Tracy Eley (Springer) and nephew Warren Springer (Debbie) in Louisiana. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, for his graveside service at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. The funeral procession will form at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057 at 12:15 pm and leave for the cemetery at approximately 12:30 pm.
