Roberta J Young

Roberta “Casmirri” Young of Bristol passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Legacy Gardens of Bristol.  She was 81.  Born and raised in Bristol, PA.  Roberta was a retired manager at her Uncle Anthony’s restaurant, Casmirri’s, in Hulmeville.  She was also a hairdresser with her good friend Janet MacDonald.  She enjoyed ice cream, taking trips to the Borgata, going to eat, shopping, traveling, baking for family and friends but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and many close girlfriends.  She is preceded in death by her parents John and Mafalda Casmirri, husband, Donald Young, and daughter Jacky (Young) Foley.  Roberta will be greatly missed by her children Lorraine Cullen and her husband Steve, Leslie LaRosa and her husband Bill, son in law Patrick Foley,  daughter, Ginny Katsourides and her husband Andy, Dennis Young and his wife Denise, Drew Young and his wife Jayne, and her grandchildren Tiffany Zegarski (Ryan), Taylor Cullen (Meredith), Morgan Cullen, Blake Rubin (Serena), Georgia May (Dave), Eleni Gilchrist (Dan), Greg Katsourides, Chris Katsourides (Jessie), Andrew Katsourides, Olivia Young, Cecilia Young, Julia Young, Jesse McPherson (Tara), Alexia O’Neill (Sarah), Lois McPherson- Jones (Eric) and great grandchildren Nicholas Zegarski, Lucas May, Eleni May, Sophia May, Hali Katsourides, Isla Katsourides, Madison, Emma Kerner, Colton Jones along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 9 - 11 am at St Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral mass will begin at 11 am.  Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Ann Church, Bristol, PA 19007.
