Robert J Kane

Robert Joseph Kane, 74, of Bensalem, PA passed away on June 15th, 2023, at home after a long lengthy battle with illnesses. Bob was born on January 1, 1949, to Robert Kane and Mary Kane. They lived in San Diego, California, Cherry Hill, New Jersey and settled in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Bob joined the US Army as his career at the age of 18. He served in Hawaii and many other places for 3 years. He also volunteered as a firefighter for the Warminster Fire Department. In 1971, Bob met Susan at a small family luncheon Cafe in Langhorne / Newtown. Bob and Susan went on to have seven children; Jonathan, Ruth, David, Robert Jr, Jessica, Angela, and Amanda. In 2019, Bob retired from his long monthly truck driving career (Bob drove over 1 million miles in his trucks) and spent his time riding his baby, his Harley-Davidson Softail. He enjoyed going to many different places and his goal was to travel 1 million miles on his motorcycle. He got to do a lifetime goal of putting his feet on Montana soil! He rode to Sturgis (Montana was a day trip), up to Maine and down to the Outer Banks. He has traveled to over 20 States on his motorcycle! Bob was predeceased by his father Robert Kane, his mother Mary Kane, a great grandson, Baby Ty, and his wife of over 30 years Susan Kane. Bob is survived by his seven siblings; George (Darlene), Emma (Bud), Frankie, Joanne (Bernie), Steven, Raymond (Sandy) and Linda (Charles). Bob is also survived by his eight children; Cheresa, John (Tina), Ruth (Mike), David (Anna), Robert Jr.(Sherry), Jessica (Chris), Angela (Mo) and Amanda (Chris). He also has 14 grandchildren; Rebecca (Avery), Crystal, Brooke (Christian), Taylor (Pork Roll), Emily (M&M, Jason), DK, Alyssa, Robert, Patrick, Joey, Kristopher, Nathan, Allie Sue, and Landon. He also has one great grandson, Major (Little Buddy). Bob has many other friends and families that have supported and loved him. Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 3 – 5 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
