Richard K Stites

Richard Stites grew up in Lower Makefield and resided in Morrisville for the past 17 years. He passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the age of 75. Born to Herbert and Florence Stites, Richard was known for his great sense of humor, his warmth, and the laughter he brought to those around him. 

Richard was a proud alumnus of Pennsbury High School, where he was a pitcher on the varsity baseball team, and throughout his life, he remained passionate about sports and competition. Richard developed a love for cars at an early age, especially Corvettes and Cadillacs, a passion he carried with him throughout his life. For 30 years, Richard worked at General Motors, where he dedicated much of his life to his career. He retired after a fulfilling and successful tenure, but he always took great pride in the work he did there. 

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Brenda Stites, and his parents, Herbert and Florence Stites. Though Richard had no children of his own, he leaves behind many close friends and extended family who will miss his humor, kindness, and generous spirit.

A graveside service will be held at St. Mark's Cemetery, 2519 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 19021, on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, at noon.
