Raymond T Barnett

Raymond Thomas Barnett Born September 14, 1969 Raymond Barnett passed away peacefully at his home in Bensalem Monday, November 27th at the age of 48. Ray was an outdoorsman. He spent most of his life working outside. He loved to go fishing. Ray would spend most of his time hanging down at the Neshaminy Creek fishing, listening to the radio, and relaxing. He enjoyed being in the company of friends and family. When he wasn’t doing this he was watching his old western “Shoot ‘em up cowboy” movies as he called them. He loved teaching the kids in the family to fish and dig for bait.  He was notorious for sneaking the kids candy. Although reserved, he always had a way to make the kids laugh whether climbing in a wagon that was way too small for him or counting like Count Dracula to teach the kids their 1,2,3’s. Ray is survived by his three children Lacy Barnett, Katie Nichols, and Jake Nichols; his grandson Dominick; his sisters Jeannie Olsen (Mark), Veronica Straley; brother Anthony Barnett; step father George Tahinos; nieces and nephews; and a multitude of other family and friends. Ray is preceded in death by his parents Jean Straley and Harold (Mike) Barnett; nephew TJ Ritchie; and his grandparents Edith and Raymond Straley and Veronica Barnett and Oscar Barnett. Ray will be greatly missed but never forgotten.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10 am – 12 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
