Randolph Volponi

Randolph (Randy) Volponi, formerly of Bristol Boro passed away peacefully on Friday, September 24, 2021, at his home in Philadelphia Pa surrounded by his loved ones. He was 60 years old. Born in Bristol, the son of the late Leonard “Pal” Volponi and Frieda Volponi (Pawelzik), Randy had been a longtime resident of Levittown before moving back to Bristol. He met the love of his life, Barbara Ann Kuhn and married her on April 4, 1987. Together they have shared a million lifetimes of wonderful memories; and have raised four beautiful children. He was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies; he watched every game possible and attended whenever he could. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother Gerald (Jerry) Bachman and his wife Katherine Bachman; his paternal grandparents Rudolph and Rose Volponi; his maternal grandparents Emil and Charlotte Pawelzik; a sister-in-law Carol McDevitt; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Randy will be remembered as the beloved husband of 34 years to Barbara, and loving father to Nicole, Amber, Randolph, and James. He was a proud pop-pop to the apple of his eye, his grandson, Julian Matthew. He is also survived by his brothers Robert Bachman (Hiromi), Thomas Bachman; his sister Marlene Purcell (Ted). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 10 - 11 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
