Levittown

Patricia Ann Thompson, aged 85, peacefully passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Pat was a cherished resident of Levittown for 60 years, where she and her husband lovingly raised their six children. She was a devoted mother, always prioritizing her children and naturally giving to others before herself. Pat grew up in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia with her loving parents, Ray and Connie. She attended Holy Name of Jesus Church Catholic School and graduated from Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School in 1957.

In 1960, Pat married her husband, Jim, and was a devoted wife until his passing in 2004. During her years in Levittown, Pat worked for the Bristol Township School District, first as a bus driver and later as a secretary at Harry S. Truman High School. Pat was an avid reader, enjoyed playing Scrabble, and cherished time spent with family. She loved to crochet and created many cherished items for her children, grandchildren, and friends.

From a young age, Pat held a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mother, frequently praying the rosary with family, friends, and her prayer group. She imparted her love of God and devotion to Mary to countless people she met.

Pat started life as an orphan, but died surrounded by the love of two sisters, six children, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Patricia is fondly remembered by her children: Patricia Guldin, James (Margaret) Thompson, Kathleen (Daniel) O'Connell, Michelle Camp, Dennis Thompson, and Christine (Gregory) Dever. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Katy Guldin, Krista Guldin, Molly (Frank) Coffey, Betsy (Andrew) Thompson-Pohl, Emma Thompson, Daniel (Tracy) O'Connell, Katie O'Connell, Keith (Lindsay) Camp, Jonathan Camp, Madeline Dever, and Jamie Dever, and her great-grandchildren: Jack, Bucky, and Maggie Coffey, and Olive Thompson-Pohl. She is also survived by her dedicated sisters, Mary Ann (John) Stepnowski and Kathy Schaeffer (Fred Kobbe). Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Thompson, and her dear parents, Raymond and Connie Skulik. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

The services to honor Patricia's life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 424 S. Main Street, North Wales, PA 19454, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private and managed with care under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
