Patricia Ann Maley, 66, of Chalfont, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Patricia (Pat) was born on October 21, 1957, to Naomi and William Maley in Darby, PA. As a young child, her family moved to Bucks County, PA where she was a lifelong resident. Pat graduated from Neshaminy High School. After that, she went to Trenton State (The College of New Jersey) and received a bachelor’s degree in political science. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in social work at Marywood University. She began her social work career at The Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency where she served the community in many roles. Most notably, as a family therapist / supervisor and then as the Assistant Director of the agency. She retired from the County of Bucks in 2012 after more than 20 years of service. After retiring, she worked as a therapist at Ivyland Counseling Center in Warminster until May of 2024. Pat was a brilliant clinician who improved the lives of many people during her career. She was often referred to as "the therapist's therapist". 

Pat loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the beach, enjoyed golf, traveling, doting on her "grandchildren of choice" (Sophia and Madison), and caring for her beloved dog Hudson. She also took up many hobbies throughout her life, including painting, photography, and crocheting. 

Pat was predeceased by her father William Maley, mother Naomi Maley, and her brother William Maley. She is survived by her family: aunt Elsie Leopold, cousin Leann (Tom) Mason, and their son Thomas Mason, cousins Ann Wagner, and Rick (Alice) Wagner. 

She will be deeply missed by her family, loved ones and friends. Including, Nicole and Joe DuMond and their daughters Sophia and Madison DuMond. Her lifelong friend Marsha Young husband Bill, their children, Jennifer, Michele and Billy and the loving nieces and nephews who called her Aunt Bob and her close friends, Mark Cribbs, Evelyn and Byron Campbell, Barbara Gross, and many others. 

As Pat’s wishes, there will be no funeral service held for her. The arrangements to commemorate her life will be conducted privately and thoughtfully by Galzerano Funeral Home.

Patricia's presence will be deeply missed, and memory will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
