Michelle R Morris

Michelle Renee Morris departed this life on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. She fought the battle against cancer  for as long as she could, but God said it was time for her to go home to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Michelle was born on October 1,1960 at the Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA. She was the daughter of the late Robert Morris, Sr., and Carolyn Hopkins Morris.  She received her education from the Bristol Borough School District, and she graduated in June 1979.  “Mouse” as her friends affectionately named her,  started working not long after that for Keystone/Hubbell Lighting Company in Bristol. Michelle remained at the company for 25 years. When the company relocated to another state, she was then employed by the Walmart Corporation in Levittown, PA.  She worked in the meat department and established many friendships with other employees from the different departments.  She was often seen talking to family members, hometown friends and customers during the workday.  Michelle was known for her friendly smile and ability to help customers and fellow employees when needed.

Michelle leaves to mourn her son Dwayne Barlow, Jr., sisters Cheryl Murkey, Bristol, Marcia Morris, Bristol, brothers Brian Morris (Eileen) Levittown and Maurice Morris, Sr. Bristol.  Her faithful full-time aides during her illness were nieces Jasmine Morris and Danielle Ivery, whom we are most grateful and thankful for their assistance. Nephews Michael Morris, Philadelphia, Darin Robinson I, (Jennifer) Levittown, PA, Jermain (Erin) Moore, Eliot, MA, Lance Morris (Candace) Prince Georges County, MD, Derek Ivery, Bristol, Brian Morris, Jr. (Jaime) Asheville, NC, Christopher and Patrick Morris, Levittown, Maurice Morris, Jr, and Anthony Martin, Bristol. 9 great nephews and 9 great nieces, cousins and the matriarchs of our family, Aunt Violet Walton of Willingboro, NJ and Uncle Russell Morris, Ewing Township, NJ, and a host of friends.  Also, her beloved cats, Josie, and Lizzie.  Special love to Rachel Ennis, niece, who assisted us with the medical staff at the hospital. Her medical expertise helped alleviate some of the stress we were going through during Michelle’s final days.
