Michael Joseph Glatz

January 18, 1955 — July 7, 2023

Michael Joseph Glatz of Levittown passed away peacefully on Friday, July 7, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 68. 

Born in Fort Dix, NJ and raised in Levittown, PA, Michael also spent 3 years in Japan. He enjoyed NASCAR, aerospace, and took a special interest in planes, cars, and anything else with an engine. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his Grandson Kristopher.  He is preceded in death by his parents William and Phyllis Glatz, his brother William Glatz, and his Godson Thomas Earl Britton, III.  Michael will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 52 years Joyce Ann, his children Michael T. Glatz, Thomas W. Glatz (Catherine), his grandchildren Kristopher (Haley), Madilyn, Brittney, Kaleigh, Colin, and his Great Grandson Kristopher, Jr.  He will also be greatly missed by his siblings Barbara Israel (Marty), Carol Yusem (Paul), Charlotte Hamarman (Bill), David, and MaryBeth Milano (Joseph). He will be missed as well by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and in-laws, especially his brother in-law Thomas Earl Britton, Jr., with whom he spent countless hours. Pets include Jenny, Buddy the Cat, and "Poopie Pup" Gracie.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054. Funeral mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment is private under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to either of the following non-profit organizations.
