Michael A. Barruzza of Bensalem, PA passed away peacefully on April 12, 2021 at St Mary Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 72. Born in Philadelphia, raised in Tullytown, he was a resident of Bristol Boro for 41 years. Michael served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and then following his service he returned home and worked in the family business at Central Supply. He also was a bus driver for the Pennsbury School District for 34 years. Michael enjoyed his antique cars and was a member of the Professional Car Society and Cadillac LaSalle Club but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He is preceded in death by his wife Susan Barruzza, daughter Angela Barruzza, parents Carmen and Christine Barruzza and his brother Anthony Barruzza. Michael will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Victoria (nee: Breed), his children Diane McCarthy and her husband John, Nikki Thompson and her husband Edmond, David Kennedy and his fiancé Christine and Ian Kennedy and his wife Stephanie. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren John, Amber, Michael, Eddie, Victoria, Elizabeth, Harley, Kadence and Colton.
Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday evening, April 20, 2021 from 7 – 9 pm and again Wednesday 9 – 10 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral service will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
Keeping with CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks are mandated indoors and outdoors.
