Mary P Palumbo

Mary P. Palumbo, age 94 of Bristol Boro passed away peacefully on Monday, January 7, 2019 at St Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.  Born and raised in Bristol Boro, she was the devoted wife of the late Frank Palumbo her best friend whom she loved dearly.  She was a devoted parishioner of St Ann Church and was a loyal member of the Golden Marks in Bristol Boro and the St Thomas Aquinas Seniors of Croydon.  Mary was a traditional Italian wife, mother and grandmother who showed her love through cooking and spending time with her family especially during the holidays.  She also enjoyed crocheting and occasional trips to the Atlantic City Casinos.  She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Frances, her brothers James, Anthony, Michael Jr, and John Perrone, her twin sister Josephine Venere and sister Yolanda Pannullo. She was greatly loved by her family and will be sadly missed by her children Joseph Palumbo, Nancy Light and her husband Clyde, Frank and his wife Lynn and Michael Palumbo (Jane Forestal).  She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she adored Christopher Light (Sharon), Rebecca Curry (Michael), Jeffrey Palumbo (Julie), Melissa, Michael, Anthony and Shawn Palumbo and 5 great grandchildren, Christopher and Luca Light, Amelia and Maura Curry, Gianna Palumbo, two sisters Eleanor Sims (Charles) and Margaret Mongillo.  Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, January 11, 2019, 9 am at St Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007.  Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am.  Interment will follow at St Mark Cemetery.
