Mary Field

Mary A. Field (nee: Serlenga), 91 of Bristol, PA passed away on December 26, 2018 at Sunrise of Lower Makefield.  Mary was born in Burlington, NJ, later moving to Bristol in 1970 after marrying her wonderful husband Eugene Field.  Mary worked as a meat wrapper at Acme Markets for many years.  She was a devoted member of St Ann Church and for many years volunteered with her husband to assist with various church functions.  She belonged previously to St Ann Women’s Club, Senior Citizen Club and the Red Hats Club of Bristol.  Her family will miss her Italian cooking and baking.  Mary was the daughter of the late Luciano and Rose Serlenga of Burlington, NJ and was predeceased by her loving husband Eugene Field, sisters Carmella and Esther and brothers Wedie, James, Eli and Louis.  She is survived by her daughter Shelley Carr and her husband Richard of Lake Ariel, son Eugene Field and wife Eileen, as well as her grandchildren Charles, Richard III, Joseph, Ashley, Ryan, Nick, great grandsons Braden, Paxton and Lucas.  She is also survived by her sisters in law Barbara Serlenga, Joanne Werner, Sylvia Marozzi and Mary Lou Field, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, December 31, 2018 from 9 - 11 am at St Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am.  Interment will be held at St Mark Cemetery, Bristol, PA.  In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made in her memory to St Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007 or the Alzheimer’s Assoc, 399 Market Street, Ste 103, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
