Marion B Shaw

Marion Barbara Shaw, lovingly known as Gram, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at the age of 91 in Tullytown, Pennsylvania. Marion was born on July 19, 1932, in Union City, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Shaw as well as her son Paul Heilig.

Marion was a vibrant and joyful soul who had a zest for life. She had a unique way of turning her bad days into shopping adventures, whether it was exploring flea markets, jewelry stores, clothing boutiques, or even pet shops. Marion also had a passion for coloring, playing games, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her infectious smile and vibrant presence would light up any room she entered. Marion's favorite color was blue, and she would always find something to purchase wherever she went, no matter how small.

She is survived by her five children: Robert, Scott, Ronda, Renee, and John. Marion was also a cherished grandmother to eleven grandchildren: Sherry, Melanie, Aron, Nicholas, Debra, Michelle, Patrick, Christine, John, Amanda, and Katelyn. Additionally, she was a proud great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren: Tayanna, Jordan, Kendall, Christopher, Jackson, Ellie, Max, and Nora. Marion's loyal companion, her dog Prince, was always by her side.

Today, as we celebrate Marion's beautiful and love-filled life, she would not want us to be sad. Instead, she would encourage us to go out and shop our way to happiness, just as she did throughout her life. Marion's legacy will forever be remembered as someone who brought joy and smiles to those around her. She also had the bestest friend who never left her side (Ceil) as well as all her other long life time friends and family.

We would like to thank all the nurses, aids, every single person who has come to help us in the last couple months to keep her life still living. May Marion's spirit continue to shine bright in our hearts as we remember the joy she brought to our lives.

Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 6 - 7:30 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.   Funeral service will begin at 7:30 pm. Interment is private under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
