It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and wife, Maria Francis Fioravanti, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, after a courageous and determined battle with cancer.

Maria was a woman of unwavering strength, boundless love, and incredible grace. As a wife, mother, and friend, she was the heart and soul of our family, always putting others before herself. Her resilience in the face of adversity was nothing short of inspiring, and her love for her family never wavered. She fought her illness with remarkable courage, but it is her love, kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her that will remain her legacy.

Born February 25th, 1966, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, Maria lived a life full of warmth, compassion, and devotion. She was married to Brian Michael Fioravanti for 38 years, and together they raised a beautiful family, creating a home full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Maria is survived by her husband Brian Michael Fioravanti and children: Nicholas Michael Fioravanti and James Anthony Fioravanti. She is also survived by her brother Michael Collins. She was predeceased by her children Michael Anthony Fioravanti and Brian Michael Fioravanti Jr, her parents James Collins and Marie Collins, and her brother James Collins Jr.

Our hearts will forever carry the love and lessons she shared with us. Rest in peace, Maria. You will always be deeply loved and missed.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible doctors at Penn Medicine Dr. Rosato, Dr. Guggenheim and Dr. Raj who cared for Maria throughout her battle with cancer. Their unwavering dedication, compassion, and expertise provided her with comfort and strength during some of the most challenging moments of her life. Although we faced an incredibly difficult journey, their tireless efforts, kindness, and support made a lasting impact on our family. Their ability to combine medical knowledge with genuine empathy helped us navigate through a time filled with uncertainty, and for that, we are forever grateful. Thank you for giving us hope, comfort, and for standing by us every step of the way.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that her love will live on in the hearts of those she touched. A private family service will be held to honor her memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Colorectal Cancer Alliance, Colon Cancer Foundation, and Colon Cancer Coalition in her memory.
