Lynford R Runner

Lynford R. Runner age 65 of Croydon passed away peacefully on October 22, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ raised in Croydon where he was a lifelong resident.  He was a retiree of the US Steel Mill in the millwright department and owner and operator of Runner Trucking.  Len enjoyed coaching Bristol Township Little League baseball, he was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, painting and woodworking, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Isabella Runner, and his brother Ronald Runner.  Len will be greatly missed by his wife Nancy Runner of 44 years, his children Thomas Runner (Andrea), Kathryn (Russell), Robert Runner, his sisters Jeannie Rothsching, Diane Coar (Herb), Cheryl Ball (Robert) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 9 – 10:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 601 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 19021. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30am Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
