Lorraine Hedrick

Lorraine Hedrick (nee: Nicosia) of Fairless Hills, PA passed away in her sleep peacefully Tuesday, January 17, 2022, at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. She was 65.  Born and raised in South Philadelphia, she has been a resident of Fairless Hills for over 35 years.  She was a retired employee of Jefferson Bucks Hospital as a Medical Coder.  Lorraine enjoyed baking, playing bingo, party planning, traveling especially to her winter home in the Villages of Florida, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents Basil and Dorothy Nicosia.  Lorraine will be missed by her loving husband Sam of 22 years, her children Danielle Vacirca, Stefanie Marucci and her husband David Sr, Lori Hedrick, Sammy Hedrick and his wife Cathy, and her grandchildren David Jr, Giovanni, Deanna, and Matthew.  She will also be missed by her sibling’s Anthony Nicosia (Susan), Michael Nicosia, Vito Vacirca Jr (Teri), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 8 – 9:45 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.  Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056.  Interment will follow at Ewing Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ 08628.
