Linda A Rider

Linda A. Rider of Bristol, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with lung cancer.  She was 59.  Born and raised in Bristol Boro, she was a graduate of Delhaas High School Class of 1976.  She was a Special Education Teacher for the Bristol Township School District.  Linda was a member of the Terchon Twirlers as a majorette.  She enjoyed taking trips to the New Jersey Shore beaches, playing the piano, but most of all she enjoyed attending all of her children’s sporting events, spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Elsie Monico.  Linda will greatly be missed by her husband Jack, her children Todd (Staci), Rebecca, Jeffrey, grandson Grayson Cole, her brother Jimmy Monico, her mother and father in law Ray and Patricia Rider, brother and sisters in law Bill, Cindy, Melanie, Patti Jo, also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that loved her greatly. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 7 – 9 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007 and Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 9-10 am at Harriman United Methodist Church, 1700 Wilson Ave, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral services will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linda’s name to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
