Leslie Hawley

Leslie Hawley (Correll), a 35-year resident of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away surrounded by family on August 19^th, 2021, at the age of 62 years young.

Leslie was born in Philadelphia on July 28^th, 1959, to William F. Correll and Alfreda Correll (Dennis). She graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1977 and soon worked amongst many jobs in the service industry. Leslie was most famously known as “The lunch lady” at Penn Valley and Oxford Valley Schools where she touched the lives of many young and old. Leslie and George loved to travel within the United States, seeing many places such as Cadillac Mountain, Maine; College Fjords, Alaska; and the infamous North Wildwood beach where she brought many family members together. Leslie was a spiritual woman who enjoyed taking part in church activities. She also loved crocheting, singing, roller skating, and floating in the pool. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Leslie is preceded in death by her parents William and Alfreda Correll; and Grandson Mazikeen Curtis.Leslie is survived by her husband of 38 years George Hawley, son Eric and stepson Jason Hawley; Granddaughter Carisa Hawley; Great-grandchildren Timothy and Ryder Keaton; Brothers Billy and Matthew Correll; Sisters Julie Laskey and Missy Staite; Sister-in-law Pam Jones and Brother-in-law Buff Jones; Nieces Melissa Jones, Krista Jones, Elena Staite, and newborn Ryleigh Staite; Nephews Austin Correll, Jonathan Laskey, Matt McCormick, Jesse Staite, Jamie Staite, Max Secoolish, and Dale Smith. As well as her loving dog Morgan Jane.

Special mention to Robin Laskey, a loving friend amongst many others.

Family and friends are invited to gather Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 10 - 11 am at Calvary Full Gospel Church, 676 Lincoln Hwy, Fairless Hills, PA 19030.  Funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
