Kenneth F. Day passed away at home March 11, 2021, he was 85 years old.  On March 25th, his loving wife Dolores M. Day (Doneker), of almost 50 years passed away at home to be by his side in eternal life, she was 87 years old. 

Ken was born in Chicago, IL.  He was a proud United States Marine serving our country. Pop was a butcher by trade.  He enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, and spending time with his family.  Kenneth was a VFW Adjutant for the Horsham VFW post in Horsham, PA.

Dee enjoyed cooking and was happiest seeing her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ken and Dee traveled throughout the US in their motor home.  In their later years, both Ken and Dee enjoyed spending time at home sitting outside having a cocktail, watching their beautiful gardens grow.

They are survived by their loving family, Bruce (Kathy), Brian (Diane), Brent, Brad (Doris), Dawn Rodgers Dell (Fred), Kenneth Day Jr., Jeffery, Timothy and David, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.  They are predeceased in death by John Dell Jr.

Interment will be held Friday, April 2, 2021, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940.  There will be a police escort going to the cemetery meeting 9 – 9:15 at Council Rock High School North, 62 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940, departing at 9:25 to Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Ken and Dee can be made to the Horsham VFW Post, 9788 Saw Mill Lane, Horsham, PA 19044.

Keeping with CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks are mandated indoors and outdoors.
