Juestine O Witherspoon

Juestine Witherspoon affectionately nicknamed Juky by her Uncle was born December 01, 1944, the youngest of four children born to the union of the late Fred Witherspoon and Juestine O. Witherspoon (nee Patterson) at Abington Hospital. On November 28, 2024, Juky peacefully passed away at Saint Mary's Medical Center in Langhorne, PA with her daughter by her side.

Juky moved from Philadelphia to Levittown as a teenager. She was educated in the Bristol Township School District, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School. While in high school Juky was a stellar athlete participating in girl's field hockey and basketball where she made varsity teams without attending practice. Growing up she was a fashion trend setter. Juky went on to continue her education at Bucks County Tech school achieving her LPN.

Juky was employed at Lower Bucks Hospital for thirty-five years before her retirement, holding positions as obstetric nurse, phlebotomy coordinator, home-care nurse, and bed coordinator. 

Juky enjoyed sewing, cooking, spending time with her family and playing sudoku. Juky was able to master any craft she took interest in. Anyone who had her lasagna or seven-up cake anticipated the next time she would make it. She was a HUGE Eagles fan who will be cheering us to the Super Bowl this year. Juky was an avid supporter of her family, enjoying taking them to amusement parks and movies, always trying to be there for all in any way she could.

Juky leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Michelle; three grandsons, Justin (Tiffany), Glenn and Jaden (each being her favorite); great grandchildren, Justin Jr., Jazlyn, Julian & Kieph Valentine Jr.; sister Peggy McCoy; brother, Fred II, sister in law Joyce; niece Deirdre McCoy-Fisher; nephews, Yaaqob McCoy, Nathaniel McCoy, Fred Witherspoon, Neil Witherspoon, Brandon Thomas, Mark Witherspoon and a host of great nieces, great nephews and cousins

Juky was preceded in death by her father Fred Witherspoon; mother, Juestine (Tine) Witherspoon (nee Patterson); sister, Barbara Witherspoon; niece, Rosalind McCoy-Gardner and nephew, Blake Thomas

The visitation for Juestine will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Galzerano Funeral Home in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held at Bristol Cemetery, where Juestine will be laid to rest.
