Joseph E Paolella

November 3, 1955 — May 6, 2021

Joseph E. Paolella, 65, a beloved resident of Bristol, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 6, 2021.  Joseph was a kind and gentle man, and all who knew him loved him.  “Joe” was a life-long resident of Bristol Borough.  He attended St. Ann School and was a graduate of Bristol High School.  He was an active parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church and loved attending the yearly St. Ann Novena.  Joe worked at Emerson Elementary School in Bristol Township for 40 years where he was well-loved by staff and students.  Additionally, he worked at the YMCA and Neil Armstrong School in the before and after school care program.  Spending time at the Jersey Shore and taking friends and family out on the bay in his boat is what he loved the most.  He also loved holidays and most especially family gatherings.

Beloved son of the late Dominic and Elizabeth Paolella, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Paolella.  He was the brother of Beth Ann Gallagher (Ed) whom he cherished and Uncle to Dominic whom he adored.  He will also be greatly missed by his sister from another mister, Marie Colella and her family and all of his loving cousins and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather Monday, May 17, 2021, from 9 am until 10 am at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA  19007.  Funeral mass will begin at 10 am.  Interment will be held privately at St. Mark Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bristol Elks Lodge #970, 95 Wood Street, Bristol, PA  19007, to benefit autism charities for which Joe had a passion.

Keeping with CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks are mandated indoors and outdoors.
