Joseph E Michener

Joseph (Joey) Edward Michener, age 26, passed away on August 4, 2020.  He was born October 24, 1993 in Lower Bucks Hospital to James E Michener and Debra Pitman. Joey loved skate boarding, biking, music, hiking the Appalachian trail and spending time with his family. He was an extremely good artist who paid great attention to detail in his work as well as in his life.  He lived life to its fullest as if every day could be his last day.  He was a dare devil and loved pushing himself to his limits.  He was a kind soul and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  He was always the first to lend a hand, even if he didn’t know you. Joey was loved by all who knew him.  His smile and laugh were contagious.  He could make a friend no matter where he went and treated them all like family.  He was a loving father to his only daughter Teagan Ann Michener.  He is survived by his fiancé (mother to Teagan), Christina Cagle, his father James E. Michener, his mother, Debra Pitman, his brother, Kevin Pitman, grandparents, Joseph and Delores Maser (where he resided), and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Ann Pitman.  We are asking that in lieu of sending flowers, please consider a donation for Teagan’s education fund.  Checks or money orders can be made payable to Teagan Michener. Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 10 – 12 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.   Family will be holding a candle light vigil Saturday evening 8:30 - 10 pm at John F. Kennedy Park, located off of Snowden and Carnarvon, Bristol Township, PA 19007.

Keeping with CDC guidelines, indoor gatherings at funeral homes are limited to 25 people, social distancing and masks are mandated indoors and outdoors.
