Joseph A. Costantino, Jr., (aka Joe Coz) a fierce spirit and devoted metalhead, departed this world on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Vitas Inpatient Hospice at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, leaving behind a legacy that echoed with the heavy riffs and thunderous beats of his beloved music. Born on August 4, 1967, in Philadelphia, he embraced life with a passion that resonated as deeply as the lyrics of the bands he adored. Always clad in black, Joseph’s attire mirrored the intensity and depth of his personality, a striking nod to the music that provided the soundtrack to his extraordinary life.
Surrounded by loved ones in his final moments, Joseph journeyed from this life into the next, leaving cherished memories of laughter, music, and brotherhood. He is survived by his devoted brothers, Nick Costantino and Noel Costantino as well as his many friends, who will continue to carry the spirit of their brother within their hearts.
The rituals of farewell will commence with viewings at Burns Funeral Home 9708 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114 where friends and family can gather to pay tribute to a life filled with vigor and passion.
