John Guy Donaldson Dalgleish (Ian) originally from Greenock, Scotland, who immigrated to the United States via Canada, passed away peacefully at his home on July 27, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was 88.
Devoted husband of the late Nora M. Dalgleish (nee Craig) of 64 years. Beloved father of Alyson C. Keegan-Bobbs (Les), the late David Dalgleish and the late Ian M. Dalgleish. Loving grandfather to Daniel T. Keegan Jr, Kristen N. Keegan, Ian Dalgleish, Jill Dalgleish and Derek Dalgleish. Great grandfather of Daniel T. Keegan III, Aiden, and McKayla.
Survived by his siblings Jim Dalgleish (the late Betty) and his dear sister Gladys Jeffers (the late Donald Jeffers) as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
John proudly served in the Royal Marines as a Royal Commando in Malta and the Middle East. He was a member of the Ardgowan Lodge in Greenock, Scotland serving as a Free Mason.
John will be remembered as a staunch member of the Glasgow Rangers Football Club as well as a very active member of the British Royal Legion.
