John H Cordisco

April 10, 1925 — December 3, 2017

John H. Cordisco of Bristol Boro passed away peacefully on December 3, 2017 at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home.  He was 92.  Born and raised in Bristol Boro.  He was an employee of Philco-Ford in Blue Bell, he enjoyed his retirement by taking trips to the Atlantic City and Parx Casinos.  In his younger years John enjoyed playing baseball for the 5th Ward achieving many titles and championships and at that time given the nick name “Schmitters.” He is preceded in death by his parents John and Assunta Cordisco, his siblings Helen Pica, Vincent Cordisco, Henry Cordisco, Alfred Cordisco and Robert Cordisco.  John will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jane of 64 years, his children HON. John F. Cordisco, ESQ. (Debra Kauffman), David Cordisco (Maryann Mormando), Joanne DeBonis (Harry), Mark Cordisco, Maryann Cravero (Richard Arrigo), his grandchildren Kelly Raybold (Brad), John M. Cordisco, Nicole Reed (Nicholas), Anthony DeBonis, Steven DeBonis, Michael Cravero, Mark James Cordisco.  He will also be greatly missed by his great grandchildren, Kyle Cordisco, Alexander Cordisco, Lauren Talley, Sofia Cordisco, John Alexander Cordisco and Rylie Raybold and many nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 9 – 10:30 am at St Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 am. Inurnment will follow in St Mark Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of his name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
