With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jodie E. King, a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, who peacefully left us on Monday, November 25, 2024 at the age of 54.

Jodie was a woman whose generosity and caring nature extended far beyond her immediate family. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and loved—whether they were family, friends, or even strangers. Her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and comfort, a sanctuary where anyone could find refuge and care.

Above all else, Jodie treasured her grandson, Thomas, who held a special place in her heart. Known as Grandma JoJo, she found immeasurable joy in every moment spent with him. His laughter was like music to her ears, and it never failed to bring a smile to her face. Whether they were playing, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, Jodie’s heart would light up at the sound of his giggles.

Jodie embraced the enchanting world of fantasy and was deeply connected to the beauty of the natural world. Her love for dragonflies symbolized her free spirit, grace, and resilience—qualities that defined her life. She faced every challenge with strength and a sense of wonder, sharing that same wonder with everyone around her.

A lifelong lover of animals, Jodie found great joy in the companionship of her loyal dogs—Avalanche, Gypsy, and Puppy. Their playful antics and unwavering affection never failed to bring a smile to her face, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Now, they are all reunited, and Jodie’s heart is whole again with her beloved furry companions by her side.

Jodie is survived by her loving husband, Jason; children, Alyssa; her beloved grandson, Thomas; and many other family members and friends who will forever remember her with love and gratitude.

Though she is no longer with us, Jodie’s love and compassion will live on in our hearts, especially in the bright sunflowers that bloom each year.

The services to honor Jodie's life will be private and managed with care by Galzerano Funeral Home.
