Joan was born in Philadelphia, PA and a resident of Levittown for the past 40 years. Joan passed away suddenly and peacefully at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne PA, on Thursday, January 10, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was 66.
Joan’s greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren. Joan was an avid reader in her free time, she loved reading and collecting Stephen King novels. She also enjoyed coloring, doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Joan also enjoyed Bingo with her close friends at the local fire house as well as breakfast weekly with her best friend Walt.
She will be sadly missed by her four-legged companion and protector “Jack”.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, George F. Dreyer and Lillian M. Dreyer. (Howarth). She will be greatly missed by her children, Carolann Hammond (Ragan) and Diana Marie Canfield (Justin McGowan), her three amazing grandchildren, Sadie Vaughn Ragan, Lawrence Michael Ragan Jr. and LillyAnn Justine McGowan, her sister Dolores Dreyer Rizzuto and nieces Christina Allison and Nicole Durand and several great nieces and nephews. Joan will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1 pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Levittown. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
