Janice Arlene Perkins (nee: Whitehead) was born in Philadelphia on July 5th, 1958, to the parents of John and Mary Whitehead. Soon after, the family moved to Richboro.
Eventually, Janice went on to find her passion in the selling of real estate in the Bucks County, PA area until she became sick. On January 27th, 2023, after a long, courageous battle with cancer our Janice passed away at her home while surrounded by her family.
Janice was a caring wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Nothing was ever too much for her to take on to help others. She was both beautiful outside and inside.
Janice loved the simplest pleasures in life including traveling with her husband Lonnie, going on long weekend hikes and bike rides. She enjoyed laying out by the ocean as she was always looking for a sunny spot. In their travels, Jan and Lonnie discovered The Colony Hotel in Delray, FL which quickly became their favorite vacation place. She also enjoyed having sleepovers with her beloved grandson Nash and spending time with her son and daughter-in-law. You could always count on her for a fun time with her sisters, brother, cousins, and friends.
She lit up every gathering with her vibrant personality and her contagious laughter, as she had the ability to find humor even in the toughest moments. Janice had this incredible way about her while helping others without them even knowing about it.
While she made fun of others she was also very quick to make fun of herself also. She was pure joy! Janice touched so many lives and has left a piece of herself in all of our hearts.
Janice is survived by her loving husband, Lonnie Perkins, Sr.; her son and her daughter-in-law Jason and Kelly Macias, stepson Lonnie Perkins, Jr., and stepdaughter Lindsay Perkins, father and mother John and Mary Whitehead, her grandchildren Nash, Lonnie, III, Jianna, Jayla, and Giabella; siblings, Deborah Spiropoulos, Carolyn Gavaghan and husband Frank, John Whitehead and wife Mary along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends
