James “Tink” Spadaccino of Bristol, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 23, 2023. He was 71 years old. Born and raised in Bristol Borough, he has been a resident of Bristol Township for over 30 years.
James is deeply missed and survived by his daughter Jenna (Joe), stepson Shawn Cunnane (Sara) and his nephew, Kevin McCarthy. He is preceded in death by his wife, Christhus “Chris” Spadaccino who passed away in April 2020 with whom he shared 31 years of marriage. He is also preceded in death by his parents, John and Jennie Spadaccino (Ventriglia), his brother John Spadaccino, his sister Joanne McCarthy and nephew Dennis McCarthy.
James worked for the Local 332 Laborer’s Union in construction for over 30 years. He was an avid sports fan, the Flyers being his favorite. His passion for sports in general carried throughout his life as he was a softball coach for the URSL for over 2 decades. One of his biggest legacies is the hundreds of people he had helped throughout his community
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023, 6 pm – 8 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007 and again Thursday morning, June 1st, 9:30 am - 11 am at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007, followed by mass at 11 am. Interment to be held at St Mark Cemetery. Both James and his wife Christhus will be honored at the services.
