James H Napoli

James Napoli was a caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. He passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, peacefully in his home surrounded by his adoring wife and loving family. He was 90 years old. Born on February 21, 1933, to Bartalo and Fannie Napoli, James “Andy” Napoli, aka Jim, Hairs, and Nap, spent his entire life surrounded by a large, loving, and often loud family. He spent his childhood surrounded by many family members including his parents, uncles and aunts in Bristol, PA. After being drafted into the Army, he spent two years with his newfound military family of thousands, where he was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. After serving his country, Andy returned home to his family, which included his faithful companion “Butchy” his rat terrier. He put himself through college where he earned 4 college degrees, most notably a BS in Business from Rider University. Andy would meet who would be the love of his life, Elizabeth Wommer, in 1956 and after a 4-year courtship, they would marry on June 11, 1960. Over the next decade, they would start a family of five children, or as the kitchen plaque stated, “Napoli Baby Factory”. Bart, Phyllis, Angela, Chris, and John filled the Napoli household with love, laughter, joy and of course chaos. In time, Andy became a grandfather to 10 children and had 1 great grandson. Andy will be sorely missed but leaves behind a great legacy of family, friendships and traditions which will be felt for generations to come. Andy is survived by his wife Elizabeth, son Bart Napoli (Tricia), daughter Phyllis Napoli, daughter Angela Reilly (Steve), son Chris Napoli (Jennifer) and son John Napoli (Annie). While the family appreciates everyone’s kind intentions, all services will be held private under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
