Jack Shema

We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear brother Jack Shema who died unexpectedly at home on December 31, 2021. He was born September 29, 1958, the youngest of four children born to John and Betty Shema. Jack was a kind, gentle soul who loved his family and happily lived his entire life in Levittown, PA. Jack was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. 

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Bill and nephew Matt. He is survived by his siblings, Karen Bain (late Richard) and Dan Shema (Julie); nieces and nephews: Michele, Dan, Mike, Kristin, Lauren, Ryan, Rhiannon and numerous great nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 6 – 8 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.  The family requests that you wear a mask.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, please perform a random act of kindness and/or bring a small dessert to share at the funeral.
