Humbert A. Durante, Jr.

Humbert A. (Tony) Durante, Jr. of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully on February 23, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was 79.  He was born in Philadelphia, was raised in Tullytown and Bristol but spent over 50 years in Levittown. While serving his country in the US Army, Tony spent time in Germany and was a Marksman.  He retired from Conrail after 35 years, where he served as a trainman and conductor on the railroad.  He was an avid and accomplished bowler, enjoyed horse racing, watching the Eagles, Flyers and Phillies and spending time with his grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents Humbert and Mary Durante, his sister Loretta DeSimone, his children Sharon Marcinkiewicz and Michael Riff.  Tony will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 52 years Lorraine (nee: Tepper), his daughter Stacy Russell and her husband Preston, and his loving grandchildren Brandon, Gavin and Brooklyn.  He will also be greatly missed by his siblings Roberta Marino and Patricia Wagner and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 10 – 11 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
