Grace McDonald

McDonald, Grace (Talsnick), 80, of Southampton, PA passed away peacefully on May 21, 2018 - in the comfort of her home with family by her side. Grace was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.  She moved to Southampton, PA in 2004 - where she spent her senior years enjoying her children and grandchildren.  In her earlier life, she was employed by Fishers, The Radisson Hotel and Boscovs.  Aside from being with her family, Grace enjoyed going to the mountains, the community pool and watching her beloved Phillies.  Grace was the family matriarch - the glue holding it all together.  Her faith was her guiding light. “This too will pass” was her comforting quote to those in distress.  She was a pillar of strength up until her last breath.  One of her final statements was “I had a great life and have no regrets”. Grace is survived by her 4 children: Darlene McDonald; Kimberly Pommerer (Bill); Greg McDonald; and Emmett McDonald.  She adored her 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren - and cherished special moments with her cousins and close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 10 – 11 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966.  Service will be at 11 am.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
