Giovanni Mannino

Giovanni (John) Mannino passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was 86 years of age.

Giovanni was born in Carini, Sicily to his beloved parents Giovanni and Graziella (Armetta). At age 41 he finally permanently immigrated to the United States in Trenton, New Jersey and became an employee of St. Francis School of Nursing for 32 years and retired in 2007. John was fond of gardening, growing vegetables, and making his own homemade wine. In 2014 he moved to the Levittown/Warminster area of Pennsylvania. Giovanni was preceded in death by his wife Maria (Randazzo) Mannino, and was a devoted father of Renato (Lisa) Mannino, Salvatore (Paula) Mannino, brother of Vito Mannino, his late brother Giuseppe (Battista) Mannino, and his late sister Giuseppina (Passalacqua); beloved and devoted grandfather of Giovanni, Fabiano, Maria (and Joseph Staffieri), Alessia, Gabriella, Sabrina, Russell, Daniel, and great grandfather of Giuseppe and Giuliana.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Thursday evening, February 27, 2020 from 6-8PM and Friday morning, February 28, 2020 from 10-11AM at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Service will begin at 11AM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
