Giovanna "Jane" D Joseph

Giovanna “Jane” D. Joseph (April 24, 1931-April 2, 2018) Giovanna “Jane” D. Joseph of Trevose passed away on April 2, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Hospital-Hospice.  She was 86.  Born and raised in the Tacony section of Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fedele (Fred) and Assunta (Susie) D’Uva (nee Aquilino).  Preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, John M. Joseph, Jr.  She is survived by her four children, John M. Joseph, III (Lonna) of Colchester, CT, Rose Marie Kendrick (Daniel) of Fairless Hills, PA, Fred Joseph (Susan) of Trevose, PA, and Thomas Joseph (Suzy) of Oakford, PA.  Jane will be extremely missed by her grandchildren Nicole Kosmaceski (Mark), Daniel Kendrick, Jr. (fiancée Jacqueline), Catherine Joseph-Pratt (Justin), and Julia Joseph, as well as, her adored great-grandchildren Gianna and Grace Kosmaceski.  Her sister Marie Frisco, many nieces and nephews along with extended family and friends will miss her as well.  Jane was a lifelong member of Assumption B.V.M. parish where she was an active member of the church choir.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking, music, and trips to the beach with her girlfriends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Sunday evening, April 8, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Assumption B.V.M., 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053 and again Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of her funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be held at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Holy Redeemer Hospital-Hospice, 1648 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook, PA 19046 or St. Joseph Manor Nursing Home, 1616 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook, PA 19046.      To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Giovanna "Jane" D Joseph, please visit our flower store.
