Genevieve Waltz

Genevieve Ann Waltz, born on May 20th, 1942, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at Towne Manor West Nursing Home in Norristown, PA. Genevieve was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who cherished her family above all else. Surrounded by loved ones in her final moments, she leaves behind a loving legacy that will forever be remembered.

Genevieve was a dear mother to three sons and two stepdaughters: Jim Gleason, Andy Gleason (Trisha), Steve Waltz (Shelley), Sue Barker (Charlie) and Lori Cunnane. In addition to her children, Genevieve was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her beloved husband Walter "Mickey" Waltz in 2015. She also had 4 loving and devoted siblings: Mary Ann Krumm, Doleres Cascarino, Gennaro "Jerry" Ferraro (Colette), and Christine Daniels (Ray). Jerry preceded her in passing in 2023.

Genevieve was a kind and giving person, who made countless sacrifices for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Genevieve will be profoundly missed not only by her family but by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 11 am - 12 pm at St Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral Mass will begin at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
