Everett Jacobs

Everett Ollin Jacobs (Jake) was born on August 22, 1936 to the late Everett and Ida Jacobs in Philadelphia Pa. On the morning of February 1, 2025 God called him home to rest. His one Sibling Donald Jacobs preceded him in death. He was baptized at an early age he became a devoted Catholic. Jake Graduate from Germantown High School.

Everett (Jake) career in the postal services began with the 30th street mail station in 1966. He eventually moved to a bigger role at the Bulk Mail Center in North East Philadelphia Pa. where he retired with 33 years to the Federal Postal Service. As a youth he enjoyed boxing and playing the guitar. Everett (Jake) hobbies included painting, bowling, fishing, dancing and having fun with family and friends.

As a lifelong Catholic he had been a member of many churches in the archdiocese. Everett (Jake) was an active member serving as a Eucharistic Minister majority of his life. He lived a long life despite the challenges of Dementia, he is remembered for his spiritual kindness, love for his family, laughter and funny sense of humor.

He Leaves to mourn his two sons Everett Jacobs III and Rodney Jacobs and one daughter Terrilynn Jacobs and a daughter-in-love Cheryl Jacobs, Stacy Thomas like a daughter is also a cherished beloved member of the family who shared the life and love within the family. Grandchildren Tristan, Sade, Darnell Il, Chiquita, Rodney Jr, Everett IV and a host of great grandchildren and Friends.
